AUCTION RULES
Unfortunately we are not set up to take absentee or phone bids.
The only way to bid on an item is to either be here yourself, or have someone to bid for you that will also pay for the item and take care of  shipping it.
We just don't have enough staff to be able to handle it.

The CC-AWA is not able to accept any payment via any form of credit card, debit card or other electronic transaction. It is at the sole discretion of the auction cashier whether to accept payment in any form other than cash in US dollars.
If you are not known by the cashier and wish to make payment by check or travelers checks, you must notify us in advance and receive acknowledgment that the cashier will accept your payment method.

----NOTE OUR $25 MINIMUM----
1. Your item (or box lot) must have a reasonable expectation of bringing a closing bid greater than $25 in order to consign to this auction.
2. CCAWA charges the seller a 10% commission to help to defray costs of this conference. There is no buyer premium.
3. You may set a minimum bid you will accept for your goods.
4. CCAWA makes no claims as to the ownership, authenticity or operating condition of any goods put up for sale. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.
5. You must be registered for this CCAWA annual conference in order to
participate as a buyer or seller.
6. It is our intention to have volunteers on duty at all times that the auction preview room is unlocked. However; the hotel or the organizers of this conference will not be held liable for theft, loss or damages to property consigned for this auction.

Over the years we have auctioned a number of fine collections of current and past CCAWA members. But for the long-time worker bees of the Conference, the one we offer for the 2010 Charlotte Conference is the hardest one we have ever taken on....
It's with a heavy heart that we list the collection of our dear friend Ernie Hite who passed away just a few months ago.
Ernie had been a big part of all of our lives and the Charlotte meet for 30 years.

Ernie's passion was for collecting the rarest of the rare in early radio and restoring
most of them to pristine - museum grade condition.
He won first place ribbons in just about every contest he entered.

Now we have the job of auctioning his wonderful collection for the family.
